Marie’s journey into voice-over is as wild as her Idaho roots. Raised near the infamous “Ligertown” (inspiration for Napoleon Dynamite’s liger), she graduated from Utah State in Physics/Chemistry Education. After stints waiting tables, working as a laser beam operator, and briefly terrifying 8th graders with science, she made a sharp turn into acting.
She kicked off her career in true scream-queen style with horror films like Titanic 2 (yes, they made a pseudo-sequel), Dracula’s Curse, and Evil Angel. Soon after, she left the undead behind and dove into voice-over, lending her voice to Star Wars: The Old Republic, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Jujutsu Kaisen, to name a few. Marie is also breaking barriers in the promo and trailer world with credits like High Potential, Ahsoka, Lightyear, and the Oscar-winning Women Talking.
A chance meeting with David Cummings and the No Sleep Podcast cast at the Stanley Hotel (because where better for horror lovers to meet up?) sparked the next chapter of her career, blending seamlessly with her horror film roots—as if fate itself had a flair for the terrifying!
