Ash Millman

Voice Actor

Raised on a healthy diet of horror movies, fantasy games, and Stephen King novels, Ash is a horror specialist content creator and presenter, cursed with a voice from the dank depths of Wolverhampton in England. Bosting, ay it bab?

Initially working as an entertainment journalist, Ash transferred her skills from print to video as a writer and voiceover artist for WhatCulture on YouTube, presenting her own video essays, lists, and podcasts that somehow all contained a recommendation for The Descent. Eventually her incessant spooky chat led to founding WhatCulture Horror, a genre-specific channel focussed on all things terrifying, before moving onto PlayStation Access: the official UK YouTube channel of PlayStation. Here, she celebrated indie and AAA horror games with interviews, live streams, video essays, and her brainchild The PlayStation Access Podcast, as well as stamping her spooky signature on the channel with an annual Halloween challenge week built for torturing her co-hosts. She still insists you haven’t really played The Last of Us properly until you’ve done it with your fingers taped together.

Ash now works freelance doing just about anything she can in the horror media sphere. You can find her across the internet creating video essays on horror releases, live streaming her playthroughs of horror games, being a chaotic participant on various YouTube shows, and using her diabolical Midlands accent for voice work on horror stories in various formats. She debuted on NoSleep in Season 18 after being a long-time reader of the Reddit forum and avid listener of the podcast, and has lived her nightmare of creating with NoSleep ever since.
