Hello! Nichole Goodnight here, from the lovely city of Rochester, New York. A little bit about me – As far as pets go, I have one hedgehog (Katamari), four cats (Egg, Toast, Oliver, and Persephone), and one fish that I’m pretty sure is immortal (Blueberry). in my spare time, I can usually be found speedrunning The Lion King on Twitch, playing games online, or reading!
I’ve always had a passion for voice acting, and have worked for small projects off and on through the years. I’ve done things from small commercials, to little animated shorts on YouTube. When I was young, my mom and I used to sing together. She’s really the first inspiration I had to use my voice for things other than speaking.
It’s actually quite interesting how I got into NoSleep. I’ve always been a huge fan of horror, but I was not actually made aware of the NoSleep subreddit or podcast until I was in an artists’ live art stream. In the background, she had narrated horror stories playing. I was immediately drawn in by these dark tales. I watched the clock tick later and later into the night as I watched her draw while listening to this podcast. I asked her about them and she told me that it was the NoSleep Podcast. Interested, I looked it up and noticed that there was a section for volunteers. The funny thing is, I didn’t think that I could do it. I closed the website and just listened for a while. After a few months, I decided to give the volunteer thing a go. What’s the worst that could happen, right? Well the rest is history and I could not be happier to be a narrator for the NoSleep Podcast. The talent that this team has and the dedication is simply unmatched. I can’t tell you how fantastic it is to work with the people that I do on this Podcast.
